Today I worked on nine new spoons.
Four are carved from spalted Maple branch wood, and five are carved from split trunk wood of a Silver Maple.
The bowls were roughed into shape with the Arbotech Ball Gouge. They are all hand sanded and finished with Walnut Oil and wax (Mahoney's).
